Illumine Training has been running highly successful Mind Mapping courses since 1996. In that time the company has become the world's leading provider of Mind Mapping training and has decided to make that experience available to trainers who wish to teach Mind Mapping effectively. In recent years we have seen increasing demand and have therefore developed a programme to address this by offering suitable trainers the opportunity to learn how to teach Mind Mapping effectively and have the opportunity of becoming an Illumine Certified Trainer™.
What do I have to do?
Stage 1 - Illumine Business Mapping/Mind Mapping for Education
Attend our 1 day course (Illumine Business Mapping or Mind Mapping for Education) to learn the principles of Mind Mapping and how to use Mind MapsŪ effectively yourself.
Illumine Business Mapping or Mind Mapping for Education will enable you to think more creatively and incisively, plan more effectively, improve your memory and raise your effectiveness in the work place to ever higher levels.

Stage 2 - Illumine Mind Mapper™
This 1 day course will enable you to use Mind Mapping in your own training programmes or lessons, building your own experience and confidence, enabling you to train others to use the technique more effectively.
This programme will be most effective if you want to incorporate Mind Mapping into your own training programmes. It will ensure that you understand the principles of Mind Mapping from your delegate's point of view so that they can teach it to others effectively.
Pre-requisites - To attend this course you will have already attended the Illumine Business Mapping or Mind Mapping for Education course, and have gained experienced in Mind Mapping.

Participants will be required to attend our 1 day Illumine Business Mapping or Mind Mapping for Education course prior to taking part in this course |

Applicants wishing to attend this course will be required to provide evidence that they have used Mind Mapping extensively since attending the public course by providing sample Mind MapsŪ (minimum of 5) showing a range of uses. These will then be assessed by our Master Trainer as to the individual's suitability to attend the Illumine Mind Mapper™ course |

Once accepted, delegates will attend the 1 day Train the Trainer course and providing they show a level of competency during the course will be awarded a "Certificate of Attendance" |
Stage 3 - Illumine Certified Trainer™
The final stage to complete the accreditation programme. On successful completion you will be licensed to market and deliver, under license Illumine Business Mapping and/or Mind Mapping for Education courses to your own clients or groups and have access to Illumine course and marketing materials.
Only accredited instructors are authorised to deliver Illumine's courses and must do so in accordance with the guidelines that are covered in detail on the accreditation course.
How it works:

You will have attended the Illumine Business Mapping or Mind Mapping for Education course (stage 1) |

You will also have attended and passed the Illumine Mind Mapper™ (Train the Trainer) course and been assessed as having the potential to become an Illumine Certified Trainer™ (stage 2) |

The course will teach you how to deliver the Illumine Business Mapping and/or Mind Mapping for Education course to a set format and standard, using our Illumine training materials. You will work with the Master Trainer or one of his team to become familiar and confident with the standard and style of our delivery |

On completion of the course you will be required to prove your competence by arranging and running a course for a group of at least 6 people which the Master Trainer will assess |
|
To maintain accreditation you will be required to meet minimum business levels and delivery standards |
Exemptions Some exemptions may apply to stages 1 and 2 for trainers already licensed by Buzan who are experienced Mind Mapping trainers.
