Think on Your Feet® Testimonials

The Think on Your Feet® programme has been enhancing verbal communication skills around the world for 25 years. This innovative programme focuses on improving the verbal  communication skills of everyone who finds themselves needing to impress or simply be credible - in those many situations where there is no opportunity to plan your answer in advance. Here is what some of the past participants have said about the difference attending the workshop has made to them:

Bob Dean, Chief Learning Officer, Grant Thornton LLP
"The highest compliment I can give Think on Your Feet® is that the program is still as fresh in my mind today as the day after the training. Participants throughout our firm tell me the same is true for them. The program's distinctive competence is built around three equally important facets - structure, simplicity and creativity."

Richard Arsenault, Senior Learning Consultant, John Hancock Financial Services
"Think on Your Feet® is the cure for rambling speakers. In meetings, presenters can make their point much faster. Managers can use the tools to help staff focus on issues of the day. Content experts can articulate their message in a manner that is listener-centric."

Natalie, Victorian Government Department
"A few weeks ago I sat an interview for a full time administration position (I'm currently part time). Because of what I'd learned in the course I went in confident. There was a method to match every question and scenario they threw at me, and in the end I thought I'd done ok.

Well, let me tell you, it went much better than ok.  I didn't get the job.  Instead, I've been offered a position in public affairs, as manager of a project and supervisor of that same administration position I was originally applying for.

I'm still in shock!"

VP of a major multi-national company (client name withheld on request)
"Thank you again for those very effective communication tools.

First, it's probably important for you to know that I generally consider 80% of the training on ‘soft skills' to be impractical, indigestible or poorly delivered. As a result, we generally don't do this sort of thing.

Think on Your Feet® definitely renewed a belief that there are still good training programs out there that can impact the quality of communication in the workplace.

We first ran a class through this last year, comprised of people from sales, operations, engineering, marketing and other ancillary groups. Universally, the feedback was positive and most important, the people who went through it continued to use the tools from the class and had a sort of post-graduate language that only other TOYF® alumni seemed to understand. We noticed how the participants had changed their style of communication and were much clearer and more organized in their delivery of content.

Recently, I went through the class and find myself practicing the skills from the course, both through force of habit, but also through the value inherent in the communication style and structure. People have commented on the difference in a very positive way.

Put simply, I think the course content is unique and rallies the notion of common sense to its aid in making a case for the use of better and more concise conversations. As you know, training dollars are at an all-time premium and extracting tangible value from the courses you invest in is critical.

This course has definitely won my organization over."
